What I love is how different the Chinese names usually are from the English names. The one that takes the cake in my home area is Hong Kong Palace, a.k.a. 成都小馆. (The restaurant was taken over by Sichuanese but they kept the English name and the huge 香港夜景 picture. I’m sure the people who only order fried rice and moo shu pork hardly notice the difference.)
