Oh, it drives me crazy when Chinese people answer “yes” to an exclusive or question. They do it in Chinese and in English. Which one are they saying “yes” to?!

Haha! Totally. It’s that constant ambiguity that we learned to flow with while living there as new teachers. =)

Ambiguity is king. Yes. But the answer IS true. That’s what’s so frustrating about his answer.
