Little Creature… uh. Cheeky cat? I don’t think so. But who knows?! This was just a way for you to learn and remember how to say OWL in Chinese.

Doesn’t 熊猫 literally translate as “bear cat”?
I read this comic about a week or two before I learned the term for panda. Looking through the comics again, I think I may finally get the joke.
