Shanghaihua 上海话： have you eaten? 你吃了吗？

shanghaihua picture33 Shanghaihua 上海话： have you eaten? 你吃了吗？WHAT’S UP?  That’s what we say in America.  Have you eaten?  That’s what we say in China.  Interesting.  In Shanghai it’s nothing different.  Except of course the dialect.  This is a must.

    Thanks for putting together these lessons. I had a question. If che ve is to eat rice/meal, what does the gu in ve che-gu mean?
