Reminds me of 2 instances – one in China and one back at home.
1. In my Henan class, I was explaining phone convo etiquette and couldn’t for the life of me remember how to say “Voicemail” or “answering machine” in English! o_O I knew I’d been in China too long then. =P
2. Got home and someone called my mom’s place asking for her in Spanish. I tried to give her cell number to him, and couldn’t remember ANY Spanish at all – inc the numbers (the most basic thing ever!). I got stuck saying the #3 and kept thinking it was ‘san.’ >_<
