When I was in Ecuador I was attending a BBQ of some sort and was offered a plate of a bunch of grilled things, having no idea what they were and not enough knowledge of Spanish to understand the explanation. So, I later found out I ate kidneys and cow testicles!

My wife and I ate escargot (snails) last Valentines day but prior to that the number one entry would have to be “duck’s tongue”. We actually had to ask what it was.
