If you could go back in time…
For three weeks during our movie nights we’ve watched BACK TO THE FUTURE 1, 2 and 3. The students really enjoyed them and we used those ideas in their journals after the 3 weeks. Here is a collection of where the students would like to go if they could go back in time to any place and anywhere…
-I would go back to the time when my parents began dating. I want to see how my father succeeded in chasing my mother.
-I want to go back to see my mother give birth to me. I want to see my mom go through that difficult time and through that I would appreciate my mother and father more.
-I want to go back to the time when I start dating the boy who would be my husband. So that I would cherish him and avoid quarrelling with him.
-I would go back 12 years ago when I was in elementary school in the country side. That was the time I played with my friends, fishing, flying kites and not worrying about my studies.
-I would go back to the time of the Qing Dynasty. The servants would attend to me and I wouldn’t worry about money, food or anything.
-I would go back to the time when Japan invaded China. I would sacrifice myself for China.
-I would go back to the Tang Dynasty during the second emperor’s reign. At that time, fat women were considered beautiful and that would be very good for me!!
-I would go back to the time I took the College Entrance Examination. I would use the knowledge I have now and take the exam again.
-I would go back to the time 225BC. I want to see the all the ancient things that at that time would be new. Also if there is time, I want to sit and talk with Kongzi (Confucius) for a while.
-I would want to go back to 1991-1997 while I was in primary school. I want to meet my old friends there again and work harder on my math studies and not give up on all my hobbies that I gave up on.
-I would go back to when I was a little girl and started learning how to dance. I would continue learning to dance so today I could be popular and dance well.
-I would like to go back to stop myself from losing my doggy. She was pregnant at the time and I would want rescue her.
-I would go back to when I was in Junior High School and stop myself from watching too much TV. This lead to my short sightedness.
-I would go back to stop myself from getting into in accident which gave me a scar. A dog ran in front of my bike. I would stop the dog or tell myself to go slower.
-I would go back to about two weeks ago. I would get on the bus and stop the thief from stealing my wallet.
-I would go back 4 years ago and help myself to study harder in math.
-I would go back to October 1st 1949. I would go to Beijing and hear Chairman Mao liberate China.
-I would go back to when I was 13 years old in Grade six. I want to see my classroom and my deskmate. Those were the happiest time of my life.
-I want to go back to 1997, when I was 11 years old. Lessons in school were easier then and that was the time when my mother would wash my clothes.
-I would want to repeat this year again. I would go back and be a sophomore again.
-I would like to go back to the Qing Dynasty and be one of Emperor Kang Xi’s 3,000 wives. I would also like to wear different things in my hair to change my hair style.
-I would like to go back to when I was 14 years old and went abroad. I would take more pictures and I would buy more souvenirs.
-I would go back to my graduation day in primary school when I was best friends with another student. That was the last time I saw them and I will give her my address so we could keep in contact.
-I would go back to 2001 when I was in middle school and not argue with my English teacher about something so silly.
-I would go back to Senior grade one in High School where we had no pressure and life was more carefree!
-I would go back to high school so I could study harder to get into a better university!
-I would go back to when I was 5 years old to try to save my good friend from a tragic accident.
-I would go back and study harder to get into a better school. Getting into this school was a great mistake.
-I would go back to when I was a child and convince my parents not to send me to the dreaded kindergarten that they sent me to.
-I would go back to ancient Egypt. I would like to see if it was the Egyptians who built the pyramids or aliens.
-I would choose to go back to 1976 and visit my mom and dad’s houses. I would see how beautiful and handsome they were and how many other girls and boys liked them.
-I would want to go back and see how I was born. I want to see the great sacrifice that was given by my mom.
-I would like to go back and see how I was born and my early years. I want to see my first step and I want to hear my first word.
